Insectos plaga del arroz en Loreto, Amazonía peruana

EI arroz es muy cultivado en las riberas del rio Ucayali, en la Amazonía peruana. Varios arrozales han sido visitados y muestreados para hacer el inventario de los insectos fitófagos en este cultivo. Se registran 15 especies plagas del arroz. Entre ellas, tres son consideradas como potencialmente peligrosas: Diatmea saccharalis F., Oebaleus poecilzls Dallas y Tihaca limbativentris Stal.

The rice is extensively cultivated on the bank of the Ucayali River in the Peruvian Amazonia. Some plantations have been visited and sampled to make an inventory of the phytofagous insects of this crop. Fifteen species of pests of rice are reported. Three of them are considered as potentially dangerous for the rice in this region: Diatraen saccharalis F., Oebaleus poecilus Dallas and Tihaca and Tibraca limbativentris Stal.
